The rock band Earthbound is set to hold its annual outdoor concert, Earthbound’s Earthfest, at Avondale Brewery in Birmingham on April 20. The event will benefit the Black Warrior Riverkeeper, a nonprofit clean water advocacy organization protecting Alabama’s Black Warrior River watershed.

Both women have faced related health challenges – having brain tumors removed and hearing loss in the same ear – leading them to believe their friendship was destined. UA says safety enhancements are seeing results since UAPD and Tuscaloosa police joined together to open a precinct at 1209 University Blvd in February 2023.
