The USA Symphony Band and USA Wind Ensemble will combine forces for their Spring Band Concert on Tuesday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The USA Wind Ensemble is conducted by Dr. William H. Petersen and Dr. Robert D. Abend conducts the USA Symphony Band.
Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card accepted).

Students of the USA Symphony Orchestra will perform their Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The ensemble is directed by USA string faculty Dr. Leonard Ligon.

USA's Concert Choir and University Chorale will present their Spring Choral Concert on Thursday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The ensembles will be conducted by Dr. Laura Moore, as well as several USA choral conducting students.

Mobile Vocal Arts – an intergenerational Choral Society opportunity offered to the residents of Mobile and Baldwin Counties – is beginning its 27th season on Monday, August 18th, 2025. This choral organization has given performances in Carnegie Hall and in European capitals on several occasions. Membership in the Choral Society is open to all interested individuals who love to sing and who are open to performing a wide range/variety of music genre/concerts. There is NO membership fee. Rehearsals are held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church located at 1050 Azalea Road in Mobile. Rehearsals begin at 7:00 p.m. Mobile Vocal Arts prepares and presents approximately – five to six concerts in their ten and a half-month season that begins in late August and runs to late June.
