Young artists in grades 2-3 explore a variety of artistic mediums, practice creative thinking and problem solving, develop new tools for self-expression, and, most importantly, have fun making art! Our teaching artist will guide young artists through projects tailored to their age and skill levels to help them develop as artists and build important creative skills.

Dr. Danny Alford will present a USA Faculty Trombone Recital on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the USA Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Dr. Alford will be collaborating with USA faculty pianist Dr. Robert Holm in this performance.

The Baldwin County Grants Department is hosting two meetings to assist with the opening of the Homeownership Assistance Program application portal, which will launch on September 21, 2026. These meetings are being hosted to assist residents with how to submit an application through the portal.

Young artists in grades 6-8 continue to improve upon their art-making skills with a focus on foundations and conceptual thinking.

Young artists who wish to apply to the Alabama School of Fine Arts will receive guidance during the application process including portfolio review and development.

All skill levels are welcome.
