Dr. Hannah Roberts will present a USA Piano Camp Faculty Recital on Tuesday, June 23 at 3:00 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Dr. Roberts' concert repertoire will include the late Romantic music of Scottish-born American composer Helen Hopekirk. Admission to this Department of Music concert is free and open to the public.

Dr. James Helton will perform in a USA Piano Camp Faculty Recital on Wednesday, June 24 at 3:00 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Helton will perform the Schumann Variations and the opus 118 Piano Pieces by Johannes Brahms. Additionally, he will play Rachmaninoff's Corelli Variations and works by Mel Bonis and York Bowen. Admission to this Department of Music concert is free and open to the public.

GigaParts Makers Day is a free community event celebrating hands-on creativity and innovation in the Tennessee Valley. This event brings together makers, hobbyists, students, educators, engineers, and curious beginners for a day centered around exploring how ideas become real-world creations.
Attendees will experience live demonstrations and interactive showcases featuring the tools, technologies, and techniques driving modern fabrication and design. Featured programming includes Creality demonstrations and resin 3D printing sessions, giving a closer look at additive manufacturing workflows, scanning technology, and real-world maker applications.
Throughout the event, guests can also take part in giveaways and sweepstakes for a chance to win maker-related prizes and gear.
Admission is free, and registration is encouraged.
Join us at The Haunted Book Shop on June 27th for an Afternoon with R.H. Nicholson. Winner of the 2025 Chickasaw Playwriting Prize, Nicholson will be in conversation with Chickasaw Civic Theater director Hannah Roads. Nicholson will discuss his evocative debut novel, Justice House Shadows, as well as his award-winning play The King and Queen of Foggy Flats, which will be performed at CCT later that evening.
During this conversation, Ron Nicholson will share the inspirations behind his narratives and the challenges he faced in the creative process. After the conversation and audience Q&A, Nicholson will sign copies of the book and chat with guests.

On Saturday, June 27, start your morning by supporting a local favorite during Brunch at Toasted Yolk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—drop in anytime. Later that day, the D6 Fest continues at Memorial Park starting at 3 p.m. Come out and enjoy giveaways, food trucks, a kid zone, musical performances, and more.
Then on Sunday, join us for a Service Day beginning with church service and a food box giveaway at First Baptist Church of Mason City at 10 a.m. We’ll close out the weekend with A Taste of West End at Arlington House, starting at 4:45 p.m.
